Many of you are excited about the Nintendo DS, I know I am! Three pokemon games have been anounced for the new system so far: Pokemon versions Diamond and Pearl, and Pokemon Dash.
There is little information on Pokemon version Diamond and Pearl as of late, rumor has it that these games will be very unique though.
Pokemon Dash is a racing game that uses the touch screen and stylus to control your character. New tracks can be made accessible by inserting a Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire cartridge while playing Pokemon Dash. (The Nintendo DS has seperate slots for DS games and GBA games)
ALSO! The pokemon formerly known as Gonbe now has an english name: Munchlax. It's the unevolved form of Snorlax and will be appearing in the seventh pokemon movie:Destiny Deoxys, which will probably be coming to VHS/DVD soon.

A new pokemon, Gonbe, has hit the scenes! He has been included in many new promotions for the seventh pokemon movie in Japan. In Japan, movie viewers get a keychain of him when they buy their tickets! (movie is released in Japan on July 17th 2004)
The Pokemon Box game for Gamecube will be available only through PokemonCenter.com, or through the Pokemon Center store located at 10 Rockefeller Plaza in New York City, NY. Pokemon box (sold for $19.95) is a way to organize and save your Ruby/Sapphire pokemon on the gamecube. The game also comes with a memory card 59 and a gamecube to gameboy link cable. If you preorder at the pokemon center store, you get a pikachu badge and a scizor badge. Pretty nifty. Remember though, it's only available at the pokemon center!
Good news- The Pokemon anime series has been extended for 3 more seasons on the KidsWB. Hopefully, the new episodes will keep getting better.

Go to Target, buy a 20 oz. fountain drink in the snack bar, and get a free mudkip promo. Offer ends 4/30/04.
Look for Pokemon 6- Jirachi: Wishmaker (straight to VHS and DVD) on June 1st 2004.
Remember, Pokemon 7 is released in Japan July 17th 2004.
